CableClear provides shipping worldwide but it is your responsibility to pay any import duties or taxes for your country.

In the USA the value of CableClear is below the customs threshold so no import duties are payable.

However please check your country to determine import and custome duties.

Noggins or blocking is very seldom an issue. The general recommendation is that the middle of the TV screen should be at seated eye height which for an average person is about 1.1 m (43"). The top CableClear elbow should therefore be around 1.0 m  (39")  or below while blocking will be at 1.2 m (47") or above. Hence why this is almost never an issue.   Read more here.

CableClear can definitely be installed in exterior stud walls and if you encounter insulation in the walls, the special nose cone is designed to make it easy for you to get the hose through with no damage to the insulation. Yes. All the CableClear components, including the conduit, are manufactured to exceed the UL94 V-1 specification which is the standard for PVC electrical conduits worldwide.
For added safety, we recommend that you only feed through CableClear the power cables provided by the TV/AV manufacturer.

Having installed TVs with CableClear in many homes and boardrooms, we have never encountered interference on TVs when combining multiple electrical and AV cables  We have also never received any negative feedback about interference from our Customers. This is probably due to improved insulation around power cables and modern digital AV cables.

For TVs mounted extra high, we offer a CableClear Extension Kit which extends the standard CableClear conduit from 3'4" (1.0m) to 6'8" (2.0m).

The conduit is 2” (50mm) diameter. It is specially designed to be large enough to fit plugs through without having to cut and re-attach the plug.

The diameter of the hole is 3.5" or 89 mm. We have included a hole saw in the CableClear DIY kits to cut the hole size precisely. If you already have this size holesaw you may consider the CableClear Trade kit to save you some money.

The outside diameter of the "white plate" (elbow) on the wall after installation is 4 ½ “ (115mm).

Yes, absolutely you can paint the CableClear wall plates it to match your wall colour. The material was selected so that it is paintable. The default colour of the elbows is ''electric white" to exactly match the standard household wall plates, switches and plugs.

CableClear is designed for up to 1/2” (12mm) drywall but it can work in 5/8" (16mm)  drywall if you take a file/rasp and file down the INSIDE of the 5/8" drywall to reduce it to ½”. You would only need to do this for a small area on the inside of the wall say 1" x 1". We have numerous Customers who have successfully completed this, because of the advantages that CableClear gave them over other solutions.

Yes. One extra recommendation for inclined installations, is to tape the cable ends together to make them easy to feed through the conduit. If the incline is very flat, we suggest feeding the plumbob through the hose before connecting it and then using the plumbob string to pull through the cables when gravity isn’t helping you as much.

We have many Customers who have installed their CableClear around the back of their fireplaces where the materials will get warm, but are not exposed to naked flames.

The CableClear hose is made from polyurethane material and has a recommended temperature operating range of -40°C up to +90°C (short term up to +125°C). We carefully selected the material to meet all the engineering performance requirements for flexibility and durability in both very warm and very cold climates.

In addition the CableClear hose has a flammability rating of UL94 v-0 which exceeds (is better than) the V-1 flammability standard for normal PVC electrical conduits.

Please note that if there is any chance of your in-wall cable management solution being exposed to a naked flame we would strongly recommend you to explore other ways of achieving your purpose.
